ESD experts discuss education and SDGs
Over 750 participants from 22 countries shared their thoughts on the role of education in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals, at the international conference ‘Education as a Driver for Sustainable Development Goals’, which began at CEE, on 11th January, 2016.
About the Conference
The Conference was organized from January 11-13, 2016, at CEE in Ahmedabad.
Workshop Themes
The working groups were organized on the lines of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Outcome Document
The Outcome Document (Draft) attempts at strengthening education and learning in all agendas, programmes and activities that promote sustainable development.
Plenaries
The conference had five plenaries including inaugural and closing plenary which set the theme of the conference and recommendations from various workshops.
Exhibitions
A vibrant platform for companies, industries, research institutions and NGOs to exhibit their products and services.
Pre & Post Tours and Events
Pre and post conference tours were organized to natural and cultural heritage sites in and around Ahmedabad. These were paid tours.
