Indian Pollution Control Association

The Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) is not-for-profit, non-government organization (NGO) registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. IPCA is an organization which is engaged in creating environmental awareness and implementing Integrated Solid Waste Management System. IPCA is providing its services of Solid Waste Management to various corporate, industries, educational institutes and residential colonies.

Central Pollution Control Board

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) of India is a statutory organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).  It was established in 1974 under the Water (Prevention and Control of pollution) Act, 1974. CPCB is also entrusted with the powers and functions under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The board co-ordinates the activities of the State Pollution Control Boards by providing technical assistance and guidance, and also resolves disputes among them.
