Gautala Sanctuary Interpretation
Gautala Sanctuary Interpretation Project
Gautala, a small sanctuary with dry deciduous undulating landscape is located in Maharashtra. The sanctuary is blessed with historical monuments and temples, besides good wildlife. CEE was asked to develop an interpretation centre and waysides in forest paths for visiting groups.
The objective of Gautala Sanctuary Interpretation Project is to provide comprehensive information, to highlight the importance of the Sanctuary and to sensitise people to win their support for conservation-oriented action.
The interpretation centre has been developed and waysides are installed. A brochure on Gautala Sanctuary is developed as publicity material.
The Project is successfully completed.
