Herbal Gardens
Development of Herbal Gardens in 100 EESAP Schools in coordination with UNICEF and Department of Education:
CEE is implementing the project ‘Development of Herbal garden in EESAP schools’ with the support of National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) and Andhra Pradesh Medicinal & Aromatic Plants Board (APMAB). CEE is working in 100 schools spread over 10 districts in partnership with 11 NGOs.
The objective of the project is:
To sensitize the students about the importance of medicinal plants in daily life
To develop skills in students to develop and maintain herbal gardens
To involve community in herbal garden development in schools in order to make this process a learning and sharing experience
