NGC-Jharkhand

There are about 5500 schools to be covered in the State from all 22 districts with around 250 schools per district. Around 2500 schools have been identified in which eco-clubs have been formed. 

CEE Patna visited several NGC schools to meet and hold interactive sessions with eco-club members to assess the NGC programme implementation and activities carried out by eco-club since their formation in order to collect data for preparing a case study.

CEE Patna in association with Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) organized an event on the International Biodiversity Day at DAV Public School, Ranchi. There were 10 NGC eco-clubs that participated in awareness rally, poster/slogan and creative writing competition.
