Ministry of Culture had taken an initiative for conducting a rapid appraisal on the existing documentation of the work, systems, people, institutions, resource material and ideas relating to intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of India as the project 'Parampara'. The project was divided into phases, the first phase involved discussions and meetings for the preparation of formats, the second phase involved data collection at field level and third phase involved preparation of entries and final output in print form. The project had two deliverables: project website and catalogue. CEE carried out first level documentation of the conservation efforts for ICH. CEE Jaipur has documented information of 15 institutions and resource people that have done inventories or have been involved in conservation of ICH of Rajasthan .The task included collating information on institutions and experts working in this field, state and central government schemes, research projects, status reports and conservation programmes outside the government schemes.
