Several CEE programmes have been developed and implemented around ecosystems such as rivers, wetlands, forests, oceans, mangroves, arid areas, etc. since Centres establishment. Few key initiatives are Dal Lake Programme, EE programme for Gulf of Mannar, Dudhwa National park, Corbett National Park etc. Species focused conservation education programmes and material development has been also focus of the Centre's programme such as Asian Elephant, Tiger, Ganges river dolphin, Hoolock Gibbon, Turtles, Sparrows, etc.
