Environment Education Programme on Water, Health and Sanitation - Education for Children

Initiatives have been taken up by CEE focusing on improvement of water and sanitation infrastructure, setting up rain water harvesting structures, in conjunction with hygiene education capacity building for operation and maintenance. The School Sanitation and Hygiene Education (SSHE) and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme is one such programme. Another example is that of the setting up of “water classrooms”.
